Spectrum is the largest full technical production service from under one roof in the south island. Spectrum is based in Christchurch and provide technical production for events throughout the south island. At Spectrum our focus is on helping create fantastic event for our customers and that means we do whatever it takes and always go the extra mile for our clients. The team have all worked as senior technicians and production managers on some of the biggest shows in the country, including international touring artists and large scale outdoor events.

Sound Production

There is nothing quite like it, a big performance from well rehearsed performers that fills every seat in the house with perfect sounding notes. Having the right equipment and highly experience sound engineers can enhance an event more than anything else. Being a sound engineer is all about re-creating and enhancing the music that the band is performing. A well designed system will become an extension of the band and performers and be unnoticed, but a poorly designed and operated system will bring a concert to its knees. We can supply Sound Production for: big flown concert systems, Theater, Band Gigs, Corporate Shows, School Productions, Sporting events.

Lighting Production

A special blend of art and science, that's our approach to lighting. Lighting exists to make things be seen, but when it comes to stage lighting, of course it's so much more than that.
Our lighting designs cover everything from floodlighting camp grounds to lighting rock festivals and big dance parties with intelligent lighting and special color effects.

Production Management and Logistics

When running an event there are many details that need to be thought through , especially when it comes to organizing the technical parts. With our years of experience in the entertainment industry we can manage all or some, of the technical aspects of sound, lighting, video, staging , projection , rigging and Site Power Reticulation.

Event Site Power Reticulation

Peace of mind is always a good thing when it comes to electrical safety and a good reliable power supply. That is why we have registered electricians that can come and look after all of the site power requirements. Our electricians use certified outdoor cables and distribution boxes, to take the power where it is needed safely and reliably. One thing is for sure, the event cannot go ahead if the power supply fails!

Sound and Lighting Installation

Perfect performance and attention to detail are very important aspects when we design sound and lighting systems for permanent installation. At Spectrum we can offer a one stop shop for your next building project as we can look after all of the lighting, sound and electrical.

We have extensive experience in the installation of sound systems and lighting having been involved as contractors to PA People in some of the biggest Sound System instillations in the country. Our role with PA People ranges from installing equipment through to Project Management and Site Foreman. Some of the installs we have been involved with are: Jade Stadium, Telstra Stadium, Coyotes Bars, Churches and lots more

Staging

Staging is always an important part of the event, that is why we work closely with our contractors, Trailer Stages and Hang-up Entertainment Services, to supply large scale staging solution that are both safe and visually appealing.

Visual

Large screen projection of data and video is a very effective tool for making presentations and concerts more appealing. Through our partnership with our contractors, we can offer a full range of projection equipment, big screen TV's and full video production as well as an experienced crew to pull it all together.

To keep costs down come in and pick up what you need. We can tailor a top up package for your existing equipment , or supply a complete system for you to set up yourself.

System Design Consultants and Training
